AREAS AFFECTED BY THE WEATHER SYSTEMS

EASTERLIES, AND THUNDERSTORMS AND MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS

  • Regularly inspect crops for signs of pests and diseases to quickly address any outbreaks.
  • Adjust the frequency of irrigation based on weather conditions, soil type, and crop needs.
  • Ensure that irrigation is consistent, especially during dry periods, to maintain healthy plant growth.
  • Regularly inspect and clean drainage channels to prevent blockages caused by debris, soil, or other obstructions.
  • Harvest crops when the weather is dry to prevent damage from excess moisture, which can lead to spoilage, fungal infections, and lower market value.
  • Handle produce carefully during transportation to avoid physical damage or contamination.
